DESK supports tracing transactions from a Java client through a CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG) into a CICS Transaction Server (CICS). The CTG server can run either in a distributed environment or directly on the host on z/OS. To view a service flow diagram the Java CICS Transaction Gateway client must be instrumented.

For CTG running on z/OS

You must include the OneAgent installer oneagentjava4z.jar for CICS Transaction Gateway startup. You can find detailed instruction in Deploy OneAgent on z/OS CTG and IMS SOAP gateway.
