DESK support model for Pivotal Platform full-stack monitoring
DESK aims to provide prompt roll-out of new OneAgent versions and enable full-stack monitoring for new releases of Pivotal Platform (formerly known as PCF—Pivotal Cloud Foundry) / Pivotal Application Service (PAS) in as timely a manner as possible.
Pivotal supports N, N-1, and N-2 releases of Pivotal Platform PAS. You can find further details in Pivotal's support policy.
For each new Pivotal Platform PAS version release, we intend to add support within a month of release by Pivotal. These releases will be announced in the OneAgent and ActiveGate release notes.
DESK follows Pivotal's support model, though we will support each Pivotal Platform PAS version for at least 3 months longer than Pivotal, to give you enough time for upgrades. For details, consult end of support announcements for OneAgent.

Notes:
- 1 Pivotal Platform PAS version 2.3.x is the first version for which we explicitly list a first supported OneAgent version
- 2 The immutable OneAgent BOSH release was released in October 2019 with consistent DESK OneAgent version schemes. This is the recommended method of deploying the OneAgent. Previous versions used a lightweight approach, available on Github, and use Github's version scheme.
There are two flavors of the DESK OneAgent BOSH Release. The full BOSH OneAgent release doesn't contain the OneAgent installer. Instead the installer is downloaded from your DESK environment during the release deployment. We recommend that you use the latest release of the DESK OneAgent BOSH add-on because it contains the latest improvements, however, we've also listed the minimum required BOSH Release versions per Pivotal Platform PAS version above.
