DESK support model for Red Hat OpenShift full-stack monitoring
DESK aims to provide prompt roll-out of new OneAgent versions and enable full-stack monitoring for new releases of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) in as timely a manner as possible.
Red Hat maintains different support models for OCP 3.x and OCP 4.x releases. The support for OCP 3.x releases is aligned with calendar dates. OCP 4.x releases follow a release-driven, phased life cycle where at least 3 minor versions are supported at any point in time. Red hat aims to forecast future releases with a 3 month cadence. Consult the Red Hat OCP Life Cycle Policy for details.
We plan to support each new version of the Red Hat OCP within a month of its release. These releases will be announced in the OneAgent and ActiveGate release notes.
DESK follows the Red Hat support model for OCP, though we will support each version at least 3 months longer than Red Hat, to give you enough time for upgrades.
